Just when it seemed like no one would be able to beat SHINee Minho’s record, Teen Top’s Niel surprised everyone by breaking the high-jump record.
On July 26’s broadcast of MBC’s Idol Star Olympics, Niel received the gold medal for the men’s high-jump. Challenging himself, Niel decided go for the record at the Idol Star Olymics and try to jump over Minho’s previous record of 173 centimeters.

Niel was able to jump over 174 centimeters, setting a new record for the show.
Afterwards, Niel turned to the camera and asked Minho to come high-jump with him next time.
Super Junior’s Eunhyuk, who was at the scene, remarked, “Minho’s very competitive, so I’m sure he’ll come back. We will look forward to the record of 175 centimeters.”
Proud of his achievement, Niel later wrote on Teen Top’s me2day, “My proud gold medal (so proud). The challenge of the high-jump continues! Continue to anticipate Teen Top’s breaking of boredom!”
