Secret will be collaborating with the game Blade & Soul.

A rep from Secret’s agency TS Entertainment said, “TS Entertainment, agency of Secret and B.A.P, will be cooperating with NC Soft, Korea’s biggest game company, to show off a new type of star-content marketing.”

While celebrity game models usually only promote one game as its model, this collaboration between Secret and Blade & Soul will involve a collaboration on the company level, with TS Entertainment and NC Soft working together for a new type of star marketing.

It will not only affect one game or its characters, but a variety of content within the game.

Blade & Soul first plans to showcase special costumes that represent the four Secret members as in-game items.

NC Soft is currently preparing to launch Blade & Soul in China, starting with its first local test on August 16.

A rep from the company said, “This will be the start of a new global marketing strategy that brings in K-Pop, which is greatly popular around the world.”

As 2NE1, Suzy, Min Hyo Rin, Wonder Girls, Rain and Big Bang have already appeared previously as in-game characters, many are looking forward to seeing what new type of content will arise from this collaboration between Secret and Blade & Soul.
