Nichkhun has settled with the motorcyclist from his recent DUI accident.

According to JYP Entertainment, Nichkhun and the victim amicably reached a final settlement with each other on July 31, though the details of the settlement were kept private.

However, as the official investigation into the incident is continuing to be looked into by the police, JYP Entertainment shared if any additional questioning or investigation from the police is required, Nichkhun will comply in full.

Despite the two parties having reached a settlement, JYP Entertainment shared Nichkhun will continue to remain out of the spotlight and from any major public activities, including the upcoming JYP Nation concert, and take time off to continue to self-reflect.

Nichkhun became involved in a car accident with a motorcyclist in the early hours of July 24 while Nichkhun was driving home after having consumed alcohol at a company dinner.

Nichkhun was found to have a 0.056 percent blood alcohol level reading at the time and began facing mounting public criticism and even had his images dropped from a number of promotional ads.
