U-KISS appeared at the opening ceremony for Japan’s biggest music festival A-Nation, and stood shoulder to shoulder with such giant Japanese stars as Hamasaki Ayumi and EXILE.
On August 3, crowds flocked to Tokyo’s Yoyogi National Stadium to watch on as the opening ceremony for A-Nation showed off its splendor. When the U-KISS members made their appearance in black suits, many fans cheered from the audience here and there to show their support.
A-Nation features big Japanese stars such as Hamasaki Ayumi, EXILE and AAA, and gathers millions of music fans every year. This year U-KISS, TVXQ (DBSK), Big Bang, Super Junior and more Korean idols are set to make appearances.
On August 9, in the middle of Music Week held from August 3 to 10, U-KISS will attend the Asia Progress M, which gathers together boy bands that represent Asia. On August 26, the group will then perform in the actual A-Nation performance with Hamasaki Ayumi, M-Flo, Big Bang and more.
Just a year after its debut in Japan, U-KISS made it to A-Nation, showing a steady trend of growth as an idol that can now represent Korea in the world.
After attending A-Nation and holding its first Budokan concert on September 5, U-KISS will release a new album in Korea. The album to be released in September will feature composers not only from Korea, but also Japan and America.
