The Hong Kong actress Lee Sinje (Angelica Lee), who appeared in the biggest Korean film of the year The Thieves, had some high praise to give Jun Ji Hyun.

She said, “My first Korean film, The Thieves, was my first attempt at action scenes. I’ve gained precious experience through this meaningful film.”
She added, “Jun Ji Hyun was especially impressive. She’s an actress like me, but she didn’t hesitate to act in big action scenes. I also want to try acting in action scenes again.”
Angelica Lee is a well-recognized actress, who won the rookie award at the Berlinale in 2001, and swept up three best actress awards in the Hong Kong Film Awards, Film Critics China and Taiwan’s Golden Horse Film Festival with her horror film The Eye.
In The Thieves, she took up the role of Julie, an expert safe cracker and police spy.
