SNSD’s postage stamps are off to an explosive start in sales.
Within the first hour of release of the much-anticipated SNSD postage stamps on August 8, already some 600 of the 1,200 stamp sheets available sold out.
According to the agency behind the stamps, the SNSD stamps began being sold on August 9 on a consignment basis in 56 of Korea’s post offices as well as at the ‘Korean Postage Stamps Exhibition’ from August 9 through 13 at Seoul’s Coex.

According to the agency behind the stamps, the SNSD stamps began being sold on August 9 on a consignment basis in 56 of Korea’s post offices as well as at the ‘Korean Postage Stamps Exhibition’ from August 9 through 13 at Seoul’s Coex.
Due to the high interest in the stamps, an individual can only purchase two per person.
The agency added that a portion of the profits from the SNSD stamp sales will go to the charity foundation, Merry Year.
