Lee Je Hoon’s agency is checking up on news about the actor’s specific enlistment date.

Many fans have had their attention fixed on Lee Je Hoon’s service to the military. He rose to stardom at a late age since last year with the films Bleak Night, The Front Line and Architecture 101. The 29-year-old actor is also close to reaching the limit in the age able to serve in the military.
His agency announced in June through its official webpage that ‘he’ll start serving near the end of the year’, but on August 23 a media outlet said the date was fixed to be October 15. The agency answered that it was ‘checking up on the facts’.
Lee Je Hoon applied to serve with the Whistle Theater Team under the Seoul Police Agency. Actors Cho Seung Woo and Ryu Soo Young have served in this team, and Kim Dong Wook is set to enter on August 30.
Lee Je Hoon is currently busy shooting the films The Ethics of Anger and My Pavarotti. His film Ghost Sweepers is set to premiere next month.
