ZE:A has finally found major success with its new single.

Following the release of ZE:A’s Phoenix and its music video, the track hit first on various real time online music charts such as Bugs Music. The accomplishment was all the more significant for the group as it marked its first number one on the charts in three years since ZE:A’s debut.

The high ranking was all the more remarkable as it bested some stiff competitions from the likes of Kara, Girl’s Day and Huh Gak.

Member Dong Jun, who helped compose the lyrics for Phoenix, said, “As the members and I took part in writing the lyrics, we’ve shown a big attachment to this song, but seeing how it has placed first it has become a more beloved song for us. We will work that much harder for the song’s performance so we ask for your continued anticipation.”

ZE:A will return with Phoenix on Mnet’s M Countdown on August 30.
