Big Bang’s Seungri is looking ahead towards bigger things, organizing his own solo fanmeeting in Japan.

On August 26, Seungri held two rounds of fanmeetings in Tokyo, passionately engaging with 9,000 fans in the audience. It was informed by YG Entertainment that more than 80,000 fans applied for the special event.

Seungri took a big role in planning and organizing the event and Daesung also made a surprise appearance during one of the performances.

G-Dragon also tweeted on August 27, “Our youngest will be holding a solo fan meeting, no, he is doing it right now. He prepared really hard by himself, so please cheer him on! Our Seungri, do a good job! PS. Sorry the hyungs can’t go.”

Seungri plans on holding another fan event on September 9 in Osaka.
