A prediction that Kang Ho Dong made five years ago on MBC’s Kneedrop Guru has been buzzing on the internet as it actually came true.

On one online community, a post highlighted Kang Ho Dong’s predictions made about Psy back in April 11 of 2007, when Psy appeared to get advice from the MC.

Psy had told Kang Ho Dong that he wants to be legendary like Cho Yong Pil, Lee Moon Sae, and Yang Hyun Suk, but Kang Ho Dong told him to not follow after his seniors, but create his own style and succeed.

Kang Ho Dong then gave Psy the word, ‘Psy-Style,’ defining the new word as a noun, “meaning a man who’s popular, based on Psy, a bizarre singer, who was praised as a national singer for 30 years during the 21st century. The term refers to Psy’s hair, costumes, music, views on life and entertainment. It also describes the boldness of creating a pioneering and adventurous style that is not easily broken.”

Netizens became amazed that everything Kang Ho Dong predicted back in 2007 is happening in 2012 with Psy’s rising popularity with Gangnam Style. They commented, “There are things that even the Kneedrop Guru gets right,” “I got goosebumps,” and “It seems a little forced to fit the current situation.”
