Jun Hyun Moo said about the decision, "I decided to be a freelancer in order to fulfill my dreams to be a variety MC, and I made the happy decision [to join the show] after receiving an offer from the producers of Taxi."
The former announcer turned in his resignation near the end of August to KBS, and this resignation was accepted on September 7. The acceptance was followed by a dismissal, marking the end of Jun Hyun Moo′s ties with KBS. At the time he never openly said he would be a freelancer, but news about his resignation from KBS was taken as such and drew attention from the scene.
He said, "I still haven′t decided on an agency yet. I′ll start with Taxi, and take my time deciding on my next position."
Officials said, "Jun Hyun Moo′s decision to join Taxi was probably affected mostly by his ties with the chief producer Rhee Myung Han and that he will be able to work with Kim Gura."
"I′ve always thought highly of Kim Gura′s logical way of speech, so I believed it would be great to work with him," Jun Hyun Moo said about Kim Gura.
Kim Gura in return said about Jun Hyun Moo, "I think he′ll fit in with me. Let′s do our best."
Taxi will thus be starting up newly with two new male MCs.
