Singer Byul has lost her father.

Byul’s father, Kim Ho Sang, passed away at Yonsei University’s Severance Hospital in Seoul on October 15.

Byul’s father suffered a medical accident and was thereafter left in a comatose, vegetative state since December of 2002. His passing comes just a month prior to Byul’s wedding, set to take place on November 30.

Haha is currently with Byul and her mourning family and has been named chief mourner for the funeral, with the cremation to take place on October 17.
