Though Byul’s father was unable to officially send off her daughter on her upcoming wedding day with Haha, the two can take solace in the fact he did get to see a small preview of their wedding before his passing.
On October 19, Quan Entertainment, home to Byul and Haha, confirmed initial reports that the two had held a mini wedding ceremony before Byul’s father before he passed away.
The intimate and unofficial ceremony took place on October 14 at a small worship room with a pastor and the loved ones of the two stars including their families.

The sweet act ended up playing out almost like an emotional Korean drama, as merely a day later, Byul’s father, who had long been in a comatose state since suffering a medical accident in 2002, passed away at Yonsei University.
Haha went on to act as the chief mourner for the funeral processions before Byul’s father was cremated and sent off on October 17.
The agency added that the two stars would still carry out their official wedding on November 30 as planned.
