Slowly creeping up to its premiere, MBC’s I Miss You held an open filming with child actors Yeo Jin Gu and Kim So Hyun.
Despite their young ages, the actors filmed a serious scene, where Soo Yeon (Kim So Hyun) is crying sorrowfully and hiding under a slide, as Jung Woo (Yeo Jin Gu) offers a hand to comfort her.
Yeo Jin Gu and Kim So Hyun reportedly impressed the staff members as well as the invited press.

“I want to make this heart-fluttering and innocent first love appear pretty,” said Yeo Jin Gu. “I hope that this drama will be one that viewers would like to see.”
Kim So Hyun said, “Soo Yeon’s pain is too cruel for a 15-year old to experience. I’m doing my best to express that pain as realistically as I can.”
The actors talked about how a lot of their scenes involve getting hit with rain and at one point, they were so cold that it was hard to even smile and had to film the scene again.

Despite the maturity the young actors showed during filming, Yeo Jin Gu and Kim So Hyun returned to being playful as soon as the camera stopped rolling.
