MBC’s I Miss You is encountering a bit of a conflict with a few Park Yoo Chun fans.

Just a day before the press conference is to be held for the drama, an increasing number of Park Yoo Chun fans have begun requesting that the production call on supporting actress Jang Mi In Ae to exit the production.

Netizens are taking issue with the fact that the actress, who is in the same C-JeS Entertainment agency as Park Yoo Chun, was added to the cast as a result of the common practice of agencies requesting one of its rookie actors be included in a production in turn for having one of its high-profiled stars appear in the production.

While such a thing isn’t anything new, many netizens are also taking issue with the fact Jang Mi In Ae has previously shot a racy pictorial shoot and saying her image doesn’t fit well with the mellow romance drama.

MBC has so far brushed aside the controversy saying, “JYJ’s Park Yoo Chun has a lot of passionate fans who are behind many of the critical comments.” Nevertheless, the incident is being monitored closely to make sure it doesn’t bring any further unwanted negative attention to the drama.

In the drama, Jang Mi In Ae plays a supporting role as the web toon writer Kim Eun Joo who has a one-sided crush on Park Yoo Chun’s Han Jung Woo character.
