T-ara’s Ham Eun Jung tweeted a photo explaining why she took to the stage of the MBC Music Awards wearing slippers.

On December 2, the singer/actress tweeted, “I’m at the shooting site of Queen Insoo. I’m applying an ice pack to my ankle whenever I have time, saying, ‘Come on, ankles. Get better.’ I don’t know why I always have to be on crutches at this time of the year. Please pray for me so that I can get better quickly.”

She took to the stage of the MBC Music Awards, which was held on December 31, with slippers on. She explained via her Twitter on January 1, “Right before I climbed onto the stage, I abruptly sprained my ankle. That’s why I couldn’t wear shoes.”

Netizens who saw her picture showed their various reactions by saying, “Hang in there,"“Ji Yeon collapsed and Eun Jung sprained her ankle. [T-ara] paid the price to avoid something worse happening before the release of its new song” and “T-ara′s new song will be a smash hit.”

So many idol injuries, but at least she′s not in a wheelchair!
