On January 10, Lotte Beverage revealed it had designated Hyun Bin as the new model for the brand’s coffee beverage line, Cantata.

Hyun Bin will join a long line of top actors who have modeled for the beverage in the past including Gong Yoo, So Ji Sub, Lee Min Ho and others.
Lotte Beverage was said to be eyeing Hyun Bin even while he was carrying out his military duties. On Hyun Bin’s release day, Lotte Beverage even sent a huge placard congratulating the actor on his release while passing out Cantata beverages to the 3,000 fans that had gathered to see him.
The first ads featuring the star are expected to begin airing in February.
