Actor Kim Sung Soo recently join the group of actors giving the ol’ singing thing a spin.
His song, a remake of Choi Ho Seop’s As Time Goes By, will be released on September 16, and will later be included in an as of yet untitled project album featuring remakes sung by actors.
Ju Jin Mo was the first to release his song, a remake of Lee Hyun Sik’s Like Rain, Like Music and it is reported that Oh Ji Ho will follow.

Kim, who personally chose his song, apparently focused a good deal of his time on singing practices, even though he’s been busy filming Flight: Close to the Sun, set for release at the end of the year.

“Since As Time Goes By has already been remade by many singers, I felt burdened when singing the song. But I recorded it, believing that it’s meaningful to reinterpret the original song that people are familiar with, with my own uniqueness,” said Kim. “As the song matches well with this season, I want to share my feelings for the song with many people.”
