On March 21, Shinhwa, the longest-running idol group, appeared on the ‘Variety Veteran Collision’ segment of MBC’s Radio Star, but a minor accident surprised everyone on set.

During the broadcast, the MCs were discussing Lee Min Woo’s songwriting days and the seemingly unreasonable copyright laws saying, “We thought that there would be a lot of royalties, however we heard that [you received] no royalties because it was a foreign song. It seems unreasonable.”

Lee Min Woo explained, “Foreign songs are separated from its remix, and even if [a songwriter] completely rewrites the lyrics, they only get the songwriting fee without any royalties.” Lee went on and revealed that he made 900,000won for Jewelry’s One More Time.

As the conversation naturally moved towards Shinhwa’s title song from its 10th album, which was also written by Lee Min Woo, lighting equipment fell to the floor with a loud thud at the exact moment when Kim Dong Wan brought up the group’s upcoming title song.

Afterwards the MCs joked, “Why did it have to happen when we were talking about the title song... That′s not a good sign.”

Nevertheless, Shinhwa members wittily replied, “We managed to find success every time there was an accident,” drawing laughter from the audience."

Guess that means the title song will be a hit!
