Architecture 101 surpassed the one million mark in just eight days since its release, solidifying its status as a major box office hit.

According to the Korean Film Council′s Compiled Ticket Computer Network, Architecture 101 brought in 1,000,286 moviegoers since its premiere eight days ago on March 22 and stayed at the top of the box office.

The international release of Architecture 101 also managed to reached many audience members in the foreign box office, further raising its global box office potential.

The film has greatly benefitted from its positive word of mouth and is proving to be especially popular with people who remember their first love as well as students who are getting into their first relationships. Moreover, Lee Yong Joo’s talented directing skills have added depth to the film’s analogue emotions of the 90’s.

Architecture 101 is a romantic story that expands on the memories of ‘first love’ between two college students who meet again as adults. The movie stars Uhm Tae Woong, Han Ga In, Lee Je Hoon and Suzy.
