The band Soran showed off its close connections with the band 10cm.

In a recent interview with enews, Soran’s Go Young Bae said, “Our recent preview single Are You Crazy ranked high in the music charts. It’s a song 10cm’s Kwon Jung Yeol joined in. I think it was thanks to 10cm that we got such results.”

He joked, however, that “10cm wasn’t as big as we thought. It lasted just one day. Kwon Jung Yeol even called us to say he was sorry he wasn’t a big help. It is meaningful though that we wrote the music together and tried out an acoustic arrangement using a contrabass.”

The reason Go Young Bae can tell such jokes is because he and Kwon Jung Yeol are close friends. Their relationship goes back four or five years ago, when they first met as the student head of an arts school and the vocalist of a nameless band.

Go Young Bae said, “Thanks to our long-lasting relationship, Soran and 10cm can now happily chew on each other. Even our fans diss each other. (Laugh) In good terms, we sport a good relationship which drives us on.”

Soran is gathering much attention after the release of its first studio album natural on April 4. natural contains a total of 10 tracks including the single Don’t Lose Weight. On May 12, the band will hold its concert 19 to celebrate the release of its album.
