SHINee’s Taemin, who has previously attracted attention for his ‘pretty’ looks, has admitted even he finds himself to be pretty.

On the April 23 episode of KBS’ talk show, Hello, SHINee appeared as a guest.

When asked by the MCs what member Taemin’s current worry was, he surprised everyone by responding, “I think I’m dressing up as a girl too often these days. It’s not something I’m speaking proudly but when I am dressed as a woman and I look in the mirror, I really do look like a woman.”

When asked by the MCs why this was a concern, member Onew jokingly replied, “Because he becomes confused over his gender identity.”

Taemin was then asked by the MCs if he ever purposely acts masculine due to this concern.

Taemin then retold a recent humorous episode saying, “For this most recent album’s concept I had to put on long hair. While wearing the long hair people kept confusing me for a girl so I wasn’t able to go to the bathroom.” In the end, it was revealed Taemin was only able to enter the men’s bathroom in his long hair after purposely coughing while entering in a low voice.

Perhaps SM should consider letting Taemin go without the gender-bending wig...?
