Two of Korea’s representative ‘gods’ finally met on an episode of Running Man.

The May 20 broadcast of SBS’ Running Man showed the meeting between the Running Man cast and soccer player Park Ji Sung of Manchester United.

The appearance of Park Ji Sung drew attention for many reasons. One of them was the meeting between the two ‘gods’, ‘god Yoo’ and soccer god Park Ji Sung.
Yoo Jae Suk didn’t act like a god in front of Park Ji Sung, however, as he put on his usual modesty. He timidly asked for a handshake, asking, “Are you really Park Ji Sung?” and then offered to be the guest’s bodyguard by stopping anyone from coming too near, saying, “Don’t touch him too much.”
He also showed his characteristic thoughtfulness. When the members were going crazy over Park Ji Sung’s appearance, Yoo Jae Suk asked them to “be quiet” so that they could “hear his voice,” pushing the show forward in his supportive way.
The members, on the other hand, made everyone laugh by being a bit too enthusiastic. Everyone acted like children telling each other to be quiet, and when Park Ji Sung actually opened his mouth to say hello, they went crazy again that they had “heard his real voice.”
When asked whether he’s confident he’ll win the race, Park Ji Sung answered, “I’m confident I won’t get caught.” Running Man viewers will be able to see whether he’ll live up to his word on the May 27 broadcast of the show.
