We’ve only just passed the halfway mark in 2012, but Big Bang, who is up for the 20’s Trendy Music award, has wasted no time conquering the K-Pop world.

Big Bang truly outdid itself this year, not only promoting all of the tracks from fifth mini album Alive simultaneously as title tracks, but releasing special edition album Still Alive, with five additional tracks, just three months later.
Alive not only swept the music charts in Korea when it was released on February 29, but snagged a spot on the Billboard 200 chart , while tracks Blue, Love Dust and Bad Boy claimed the top three spots on the Billboard K-Pop Chart.
Still Alive maintained the momentum of Alive with single Monster ranking number one on various music charts upon its release on June 3.
Big Bang also set off on its world tour Big Bang Alive Tour 2012 on March 2 and will have blown through 25 cities and 16 countries by its end.
If the facts don’t have you convinced to hop on the Big Bang bandwagon, we recommend you take flight on the Big Bang Aircraft. What is that, you ask? Oh, you didn’t know?
