Fans of the MBC drama Time Slip Dr. Jin will be happy to know the drama may be extended.

According to the drama production, the drama’s production is currently contemplating extending the originally planned 20-episode arc.

Many in the production are feeling 20 episodes are not sufficient enough to tell the full story they want and thus are mulling possibly extending the drama by two episodes.

If an extension occurs, it would also go in line with the opinions of the cast as Lee Bum Soo had recently stated in an interview that he wished the drama was 40 episodes, not 20 and Song Seung Hun previously expressed that 20 episodes was not enough to tell the entire story.

If extended, the final episode of Time Slip Dr. Jin will likely push its conclusion date to early August..
