This is how the girl group Nine Muses said goodbye to two of its members, Rana and Bini. The fact that Rana, their leader, had chosen to depart dealt an especially shocking blow to the remaining seven members. Though the period of training before their debut was difficult, the time of struggle and test of endurance was yet to begin.
But of course, the group couldn’t fold just because they’d lost two members, even if the name clearly indicated that there should be nine of them. The seven girls regrouped and went ahead with promotion activities for their new digital single, Figaro, released on August 18.

The upside was that the remaining seven of us, forced to comfort and console each other, became even closer friends - and promised that we would stay together. Now we sing and dance with our eyes set on the same goal. We used to be busy just doing what we were told to do, but now we really feel like a team.

“Forget about the model idols we used to be. We don’t want to be of the countless idol groups that make a flashy debut, only to never be heard of again; we will rebuild Nine Muses by sticking together - all seven of us.”
